INTRODUCTION TO
SYSTEM
PLACEMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is a system management system in which
‘Placement Assistant’does theuterised system
placement of those student who are eligibal for
Companys required criteria.
Exisisting system is manual system which will be
computerized.
The main aim is to convert existing system to
computerized system
The system will take into consideration:-
1)company detail
2)student detail
3)Record of selected student
Student
detail can be accepted by system and system provide overall information of
company to student .then according to test mark obtained student are selected.
Then record of selected or unselected student is
stored by system.system generat report of all the information.
PROPOSED
SYSTEM
An
objective of this software is to devlop an application to handle placement
work,
The
system take student detail register information etc According to marks of
student taken
Student
report are generate.the report such as campus interview result report are made
in the
system
Studing
the manual system it is seen clearly that there is a need fr symantic approach
for perfofming test,
Integrated system with friendly user interface
incorporating all the requirement.Would definitely improve efficiency and the
qualityof work
FACT FINDING TECHNIQUES
Information
gathering in any Canteen Management System
is not an easy task.
it has to be
gathered in an organized way so that
(a) No
system details are left out.
(b) Right
problems are identified.
(c)
Repetitive work is avoided.
(d) Wrong or
incomplete details are not collected.
•
To
do this, a proper search strategy must be decided first, search strategy
includes selecting information
sources and search methods.
•
It
also includes modeling methods to make sense out of information so collected.
•
Here
an overall idea about the search methods or fact gathering techniques which are
used while gathering the information, they are:
(1)
Interviewing.
(2) Record
inspection.
(3)
Observation.
•
These
techniques are used in system analysis and design stage.
I have
visited a many times at the Organization to get information as well as the
basic problems which are occurring in the current existing manual system. As
each and every person in the Canteen has different types of job to be done so I
met some of the people of the Canteen.

Interviews:
•
Interview
allows the analyst to collect or gather the information from the individual or
group who are generally the current user of the existing system or potential
user of the proposed system.
•
They
may be managers or employee of the firm itself who provide the data for the
proposed system and who will be affected by it.
•
As
far as interview is concerned, it is a time consuming process.
•
It
is a basic source of qualitative information.
•
It
allows the analyst to discover areas of misunderstanding, indication of
resistance to the proposed system.
•
Interview
could be (a) Structured (b) Unstructured.
Feasiblity Study
The purpose
of feasibility study is to investigate deeply the recommended.Feasiblity study
is carried out to describe and evaluate the proposed system .therefore ,a
feasibility study of the proposed system need to be carried out in order to,
1.Provide
the better understanding of the system.
2.Clarify
objective if the proposed system
3.Describe
the output.
1.Technical feasibility:-
Technical
study is the study of the hardware and software requirement i.e the technical
requirement of the system in order to inform the management and user for that
particular system designing this much technical resourse is required.
2.Economical Feasiblity:-
Economical
feasibility is the study of the actual cost and benefit of the system, actual
cost of the system is calculate in the economical studyso as to inform the user
management that this cost will be required to be developing the system. The cost
requirement for the system is low therefore the system is economically
feasible.
3.Opertional Feasiblity:-
Total
working capacity will be improved and actual manpower required for billing work
will be reduced. The system is operationally feasible because of the benefit of
computerized system.
